Comment: We stayed here for spring break and thought it was great! The reviews were a little off. Of course there was construction- there was a hurricane-everywhere had construction & noise. It's not super fancy-it doesn't claim that. It was what it was-clean, nice, fun! Staff was cool. The water isn't deep but most people were lounging beachside or swimming at the pools (very nice). We loved the beach/pool bar and they were very friendly. The rooms were simple & clean. We loved the activities especially volleyball-for students it was a blast! For the price & all-inclusive too- you can't beat!

Comment: After reading the other reviews you worry about your stay. I travel often and believe me when I say everyone will make the best of their stay. I went with my husband for our two year anniversary and we had a GREAT time. Everyone is willing to help, why wouldnt they? if most of their salary is in the form of tips. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. It is a VERY CLEAN nice hotel. The food is good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. For the price you cant ask for more.

Comment: Good value hotel, food was good and you could always find something good to eat. Try the sushi bar for lunch and the beachside restuarant for seafood, the fish was excellent and incredible fish tacos. Avoid the Mexican wines and stick to drinks like Daquiries that hide the basic flavors or go for the beer. Beach was fantastic but shallow, makes it great for kids or sitting in the water, pool very nice.

Comment: I liked our hotel very much. It is located about 15 minutes from the party area, but that worked for us since there are buses running 24 hours a day. I liked the fact that we were able to visit our hotel's sister hotels with a better beach area. It was a family oriented hotel(peaceful and relaxing. You need to pay for extra stuff like a safety deposit book.The food was good, the rooms were good. You get a bit more for what you pay.

Comment: I was nervous because of some of the reviews,the food was good (not the best but good) the drinks could be better, but if you tip a little you get better drinks and service the bartenders are friendly, they made our time there fun, the pool was beautiful with pool bar, they had water arobics and relay races, it was a great trip for the money, I recomend to take a taxi home at night, the buses from downtown get so packed you have to stand it is very tight other than that it was a great trip, I can't wait to go back!!!

Comment: Just recently got back from Oasis Palm Beach. Very nice hotel, I would go back. I went with my husband, and two daughters and we had a fantastic time!The pool was very nice, also liked the beach too!

Comment: If you like to eat while on vacation this is not the place to go! My husband and I went for our honeymoon and were very disapointed with the food! The Sarope resturaunt that was by reservation only was the worst food and service of the entire trip. The only good food was the fruit! The staff is great and the foo foo drinks are good but the corona is the only beer offered and that gets old fast. Our advise is to stay in the pool and eat elsewhere! *Go on the pirate ship! Great lobster tail~! Carlos and Charlies and Bubba Gump shrimp have great food too!

Comment: My three friends and i sent to cancun for the first time. It was nice. I room service was aweful, but the peopl ethat worked there were very friendly. DO NOT RENT a car, the buses and taxi's are pretty cheap. If uyou are sing le and want to a good party place SENOR FROGS is the place to be. Over all I would come back. It was nice

Comment: Only one crowded elevator working. Food was OK. Drinks were good if you like fruity umbrella drinks. Timeshares were shoved down your throat the first 24hrs. Rooms were typical rooms. The staff was cordial, but not overly friendly. No extras (irons, safe, etc). Ocean is roped off and was too shallow. At deepest spot it was waist deep. You have the option of going to the sister resorts, but you had to get your own transportation. Very incovienent. Overall... I would definately find another hotel next time I go down, but if you want cheap.... its not untolerable.

Comment: Bottom line ? service was poor. Example: we made reservations at the Mexican restaurant one evening for 7 people and they wouldn't put the tables together because of ?politics?. The staff never told us about the extra activities either. We spent the majority of our time in the Oasis Cancun instead because they were nicer, had a better beach and the food was 10 times better. If you are on a budget and don't mind less than average food and poor service, then stay here. If not, spend the extra money and go to the Grand Oasis Cancun instead.

Comment: First of all I will never stay at oasis palm beach again. There employees at the front desk are rude. The elevators rarely worked. They had construction going on in the morning while we were trying to sleep. Imagine trying to walk down 5 floors by stairs with high heals every night. the only good thing about that hotel is there bartenders and restaurant employees were extremely nice and welcoming.

Comment: the elevator for my building was broken so we had to go up and down 7 flights of stairs 20 times a day. the staff at the front desk were not too friendly, the food was not that good, and all together the resort is just run down. dont stay there.
