Bugibba tourist information
Until a few short years ago Bugibba and its extension Qawra were a rocky and barren headland, yet not without its points of interest; at its tip is a small coastal battery of the Order which surrouns an older watchtower.Further inland is a small prehistoric temple, in a poor state of preservation; this temple is unique in that it was decorated with carvings of fish (these basreliefs are now preserved in the National Museum of Archeology in Valletta). Bugibba and Qawra are now one of the most popular summer resorts to the north of the island.
