Welcome to the Villa Montartino Hotel in Florence - Quality, discretion, privacy and peacefulness of a private home, with all the standards of a luxury Hotel surrounded By the nature of Florentine hills, all within a short distance of Florence. The atmosphere, thanks to an accurate and true restoration, has revived the freshness and the intimacy of the 16th Century Noblemen's house offering guests large room and wide open spaces, between vineyards and olive trees. All room furnishings are done with antiques or Florentine handcrafted items by the owners which all have been found after long search. Each room of the Villa is air-conditioned and guarantees with quiet operation, an ideal temperature, adjustable for personal comfort. The staff, who also freshens up the rooms twice daily, changes superb quality bedding and bath linens daily. Every room is equipped with satellite TV, safe, minibar, telephone and second line for computers. Bathrooms are deluxe, equipped with hair dryer and a range of beauty products. The complementary buffet breakfast includes a wide range of fresh specialities and a wide choice of alternatives; in summer, breakfast is served on the covered terrace (Loggia), overlooking the valley. Guest enjoys free parking and the use of a lovely heated swimming pool, surrounded by olive trees and stone walls. The pool is sanitised with a sea salt and a hygienic system that eliminate all harmful effects of Chlorine. In front of the pool, there is picturesque building called “The Gabella” which once was a tool gate between the Chianti area and Florence and which has a steam bath and a spacious Jacuzzi. Swimming, water aerobic lessons, and childcare service can be arranged. The cellar has products from Montartino cultivated and manufactured organically with simple and ecological methods without using pesticides. The products are absolutely genuine and certified by chemical analysis. It's possible to taste all of them in the “Cantina della Torre” or during an evening meal served on the Loggia. A separate building, called “The Limonaia”, which in old times was used to store the lemon trees during winter season, has been completely restored. This room can accommodate groups up to 40 peoples for conferences, seminars or weddings.
