I am British and have just returned from the Isle of Capri after staying for seven days. The Island itself has a natural beauty and I found some of the local shop and restaurant owners very friendly. Capri does have a huge problem though and that is check your bills. Check your change and price of tickets at the funicolare.The ice cream man. I am extensive traveller and have never been to a place where everyone seems to overcharge, give to little change evry trick inthe book to get those few extra euros off unsuspecting tourists. My experience of this everyday was enough, I am sorry to say to put me off Italy, let alone Capri!
