Bordighera tourist information
Bordighera
Bordighera, situated on Sant'Ampelio promontory and up to the sea is a little paradise: the well known temperate climate, the beauty of places made famous by celebrated guests and very good accomodation for tourists available.
The town of palms in the far Ligurian west, discovered by Romans, has been chosen in the past century as ideal resort by personages of the "Belle Epoque": beautiful villas, parks, hotels have been built.
Later on, accomodation capabilities have been improved with hotels, residences, a holiday village, a camping and some excellent restaurants. The beaches are long and well cared, with a promenade that brings to Vallecrosia.
Festivals (including the Humour one), a theatre that offers important representations, regattas, concerts, and much more.
The view is marvellous, your sight reaches the French Riviera. The vivid green is broken by splendid buildings, palms seem to come out from the sea and flowers colour the streets.
The interior and the whole Armea Valley are full of fascinating villages like the principality of Seborga.
