A 15th century building with stone cornices facing historic Tanucci Square, Albergo Falterona is located in the village of Stia in the Casentino Valley where castles, hermitages, and monasteries are surrounded by forests traversed by the Arno River. Florence Vespucci Airport is 49 kilometres from the hotel, around 60 minutes by car.
Albergo Falterona is decorated throughout with sofas and Tuscan-style wood furniture, beam and brick ceilings, and terracotta-tiled floors. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning overlooking the internal courtyard and, during the warmer months, outside in the the slate-floored courtyard itself.
