This lovely little wine-growing city (pop. 120,000) is the cultural and economic centre of the Heilbronn-Franken region. Beautifully situated in the heart of the romantic Neckar valley, Heilbronn is one of Germany’s biggest wine-growing communities, surrounded by 510 hectares of hillside vineyards. Pleasant accommodations and its central location in the state of Baden-Württemberg make Heilbronn an ideal base for sightseeing and excursions.
