Goehren tourist information
Two 7 km. long sandy beaches invite swimmers. Clear water, fresh air, green meadows and woods, undisturbed nature - you can spend a healthy holiday there at any time of the year. The pleasant sea breezes, the iodine laden sea air, the contrasting landscapes with many signed footpaths, the clean water and the fine sandy beaches which are especially safe and suitable for children; all offer the ideal conditions for a holiday. There are extensive leisure facilities and also indoor activities in case the sun doesn’t shine. Goehren lies in the middle of the Southeast Ruegen nature reserve which protects a unique variety of flora and fauna. The annual package excursions for walkers in spring and autumn are especially popular.
