Hotel Wittelsbacher Hof, just a five-minute walk from the pedestrian zone, the Kurpark and the Convention Center, is a first class hotel widely known for its personal service, range of facilities and high standards of comfort. 55 well-appointed rooms, traditionally furnished, provide a haven of comfort and serenity. All rooms have private bath, TV, telephone, most have a southern balcony overlooking the garden and with a view of the Zugspitze. Elegant restaurant, comfortable lounge, heated indoor swimming pool (29° C), sauna and wellness area, terrace and spacious garden. Full buffet breakfast, selected menus and à la carte choice. Parking (no charge) and garage. The stylish restaurant is decorated in the hotel’s traditional colours, yellow and blue, and is adorned with crystal chandeliers. Large bay windows look out over the gardens and the Wetterstein mountain massif. Light and refined classical cuisine is served, as well as a large choice of select wines. The ‘Stüberl’ is a cozy, maplewood-paneled alpine restaurant embellished with hunting trophies, hand-wrought iron artwork and original paintings. Both lunch and dinner are served here. Table for up to 16 persons. Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. / Dinner: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The breakfast room on the hotel’s southern flank is a study in powder blue, pink and gold.
