Hotel Brighton description
Hotel Brighton is one of those rare exceptions nowadays so hard to find in Paris, a three star hotel with four star comfort and exceptionally low rates. Specially considering the location and size of the rooms. It's an old hotel, dating back to the end of the XIXth century. The name originated from the warm friendship between France and England during Queen Victoria's time. Hôtel Brighton overlooks the Tuileries garden; as a matter of fact you can see them from the breakfast room, which looks out to rue de Rivoli.
The location of Hotel Brighton is ideal to visit all historic monuments as well as shop in hundreds of nearby stores, not to mention the array of restaurants all around it. The people who work in the hotel are very friendly, always willing to assist the guests with anything they may need: An address, a restaurant recommendation or to carry your bags (something you don't find today in three star hotels).
The rooms can use a renovation and it's already in process, but it will take sometime. When we visited the Hôtel Brighton, we stayed in one of the renovated rooms, it was excellent!
