Les Baux De Provence destination reviews

DO NOT MISS this medieval hilltop village. No cars are allowed inside, and I saw no TV antennas. During the peak tourist season, it is overrun. A very charming hotel is the Black Prince, tucked away down a sidestreet. Unless you arrive very early or late in the afernoon, plan to park at the foot of the mountain and face a steep climb. IT IS WORTH IT! The inhabited town comprised of typical narrow cobblestone streets and stone buildings. The older and uninhabited town requires a small admission fee: PAY IT AND GO IN! Be careful climbing on the slick steep stairs, but enjoy the view once you are on the ramparts. As photogenic as anything I saw in 3 years of visits to France.
