Cabries tourist information
Cabriès is a medieval village perched on a rocky spur, 19 km from Marseille and 11 km from Aix. It is a typical example of the type of village depicted in Provence's traditional Christmas cribs. Melik, a misunderstood visionary painter, lived in his “eagle's nest” at Cabriès from 1934 to his tragic death in 1975.
