Don has been in Bayeux
another fantastic French city, rich with history. The town center, cathedral, and museum of the Bayeux tapestry are an easy walk from the train station. A good place to catch a tour of the D-Day beaches is the hotel/cafe at the station. The cathedral is marvelous, and the tapestry is magnificent and very worth seeing.
