DON FISK has been in Arles
I have been here about 15 times over 3 summers. The market is about 1 mile long and has just about everything. It opens at 8, but get there no later than that to get a decent parkiing spot or be prepared for a long walk. The traffic is a bear during market days. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops on the Lice Blvd. The Roman arena and adjacent theater are marvelous, and there is a wonderful Roman museum sited on the curved part of the Roman race track. Roman ruins abound here. The famous St. Tropheme church and Van Gogh restaurant adjoin a small square. Go!
