Newquay tourist information
Probably the most popular holiday destination in Cornwall and the surf capital of the UK, with Fistral Beach being the venue for many leading competitions. A lively resort with 11 magnificent beaches of golden sand suitable for families and serious surfers alike, and with a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities. For something more sedate then explore Trenance Gardens, or for the angler try a fishing trip from the old harbour. You can also visit the Zoo, golf course, Trenance Leisure Park, Waterworld, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Tunnels through Time. Nearby you can find the Elizabethan Manor of Trerice, Dairyland Farm World, Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Crealy Family Adventure Park. The village of St Mawgan is home to the Japanese Garden and Bonsai Nursery as well as Newquay Cornwall Airport with direct flights from London Gatwick and Stanstead.
