I was born in Corby's nieghboring town, Kettering, but lived in Corby until the age of 13. Although I am now 32, most of my fondest memories take place at what I still refer to as "home",Corby. If you are going there you must visit the town centre there is an outdoor market and you can pick up about anything. My granddad's favorite hang out was the pub, and his local happened to be The Shire Horse, a traditional old english pub. In the late seventies and early eighties, it was common to bring the wife and kids so needless to say , I spent many satarday & sunday there.Overall , Corby is a fine place, and has that wonderfull "small town " feel. One of England's "jewels". My home, witch I pray to someday visit again.-
