Welcome to the Heather Glen Country Hotel in Carlisle - The Hotel is fully licensed and open throughout the year offering that little extra warm, comfort, cosy seating and lavish carpeting .It's wealth of paintings, wall hangings and ornaments give that feeling of luxury associated with 5 star accommodation. Fully central heated with traditional open fires in both the residents hall/lounge and lounge bars . Early evening, bar meals are served. There is also an extensive a la carte menu available all cooked by our 'in house Chef 'Robert'. The elaborate oak panelled function room can comfortably seat up to 100 people, it is an ideal setting for conferences, wedding receptions, business entertaining, parties etc.The Hotel offers accommodation for those who wish to spend a few days in the peaceful atmosphere of the Eden Valley, yet ideally situated for touring the Lake District, Hadrians Wall, Carlisle 'The Great Border City' with its Castle Museum and Cathederal only 20 mins away by car.
