Allan Lipman has been in Arundel
Took a day-trip from Brighton (1 hour by train). Lovely little town. Found a fine Italian restaurant on the main street. The castle is stunning. The living quarters of the Duke of Norfolk are open to the public (9.50 pounds) and are magnificent. (Pay the extra pound to visit the bedrooms upstairs.) Very beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. A very easy, relaxing, and interesting day-trip.
