Comment: 1. Even though the rooms are big, the bath rooms are small and tub is too small and the shower heads are terrible, and not enough water oressure. 2. If you go for all inclusive, their Rigaletto italian resturant seems alwasy booked, but is a very very good. 3. The spa services are Very Good. 4. The staff is very friendly overall. 5. If you are a vegetarian you will have very limited choices, eventhough you have paid top dollars for your all inclusive package. 6. Beach is ok but not great. 7. Beware of sales peolpe trying to sell you Timeshare units(they call them club units) If you get suckered into tehm you will easily be easily out 8 to 10 thousand dollars, they make it sound so good it is hard to refuse, if you still like it don't sign on anything think it over go back to them later. 7. Overall not bad for a short 3day vacation, if the price is right. 8. Hotel is very spread out not suitable for handicapped people or too tired to go around.

Comment: I stayed at the Hilton Coral Hamaca in Boca Chica for a week. Every morning at around 10am early risers do fitness on the beach to very loud music which can be heard in beach front rooms. Next time I'll stay in the garden view rooms which are a lot quieter and actually cheaper. Also, watch the water. Bottled and at the restaurant. We had stomach problems as did friends who previously visited this property in March 06.

Comment: made the trip w/ a large group of friends.if it wasn't for us it could have been pretty boring.besides the unfortunate obvious poverty,food was pretty scary.lost weight from eating,gained weight from drinking.beach/pool&grounds were beautiful&well kept.your waiters&some bartenders were awesome.treat them right and they will try to move the world for you.front desk/conc./bell hop/etc.were nonexistent.lazy&incompetent.not for singles but def. for couples.my group really made it work.

Comment: The rooms are older. Mattresses are horrible. The housekeepers try and liven up the room with flowers and fruit. But killing 10 mosquitos before bed isn't that relaxing.

Comment: The Hilton name is being desecrated by this resort. The food is horrible, the only way to get a good meal is to eat the Pelicano restaurant, at an average of $50 for two. Quality control over the food is lax, the food in the buffet restaurants sits out for hours, with bugs and insects flying over it and on it. The Mexican restaurant has a dessert cart they keep out with creme based desserts, all night, no refrigeration. I would not recommend eating desserts from there! The staff is a toss up, some were extremely nice and hard working, while others were completely rude and ignorant. The staff seems to have no qualms about ignoring you or pretending you're invisible, there also seems to be no consequences for their behavior. All in all, this resort may have beautiful buildings, but the beach is horrible, manmade, and hard packed sand the water dirty and the overall atmosphere is not tropical and relaxing. There are hardly any activities included that are worthwhile and the locals who are able to obtain day passes seem to run the place.
