Comment: I live in the DR and have been to many hotels here. This one is top-notch. Up there with the best in the country. I loved the restaurants here--the coffee shop was a special treat. You don't need reservations for the restaurants unlike most resorts. This is a huge added bonus. You just show up and put your name on a list if it's full. Speaking fluent Spanish probably helps, but I thought the service was great. Beautiful pool, fun disco... All around good fun!

Comment: The Hotel was great, we were really happy with the services. The beach/pool were real clean. The food from the various Restaurants was great also. We had such a good time at this Hotel, there is so much to do here. We plan to go back to Punta Cana and if possible stay at the same Hotel.

Comment: Facilities were beautiful. Not totally inclusive however. Two resturants were extra $ to visit. Must wear long pants to visit most resturants which was not mentioned before traveling. Understaffed. Needs to provide more individual attention to guests.

Comment: Highlights of my stay at Ocean Blue: * Pools and activities for the kids were great * Room was nice and clean * Food was ok * Service was ok, although sometimes they tend to say Yes, Yes and then not bring you what you wanted. * I read other reviews before going and was a bit worried. Now that I've been, I don't see were the problems were for the people who disapproved.

Comment: Pros: Beautiful beaches & pools, Wonderfully kept grounds, Helpful & courteous staff, The Dominican & steak restaurants! Cons: Greasy food for breakfast/lunch, Loud techno music at pools Musty rooms No hot water! (what good is a jacuzzi tub w/o hot water?)

Comment: We ugraded to the Elite Club by booking a suite & def. worth it. Extras included riding,massages,catamaran sailing, and a fully stocked (johnnie walker, absolute) bar in our room. theroom & resort were clean & beautiful. Food was ok not the best but not bad either. Make sure you bring TONS of change as NO ONE will have change when you need it (including stores and the front desk). Also, the mac machine only spits out pesos (in big bills, so once again, the change problem arises).

Comment: this hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach. overall, it is acceptable. the food was okay, pool location and size was nice. customer service is non-existent. front desk/receptionists were outright rude. we had a large leak in the room but there was no attempts made to switch rooms or fix the problem. the leak was the size of a little lake that spanned the space of the bathroom, front hall, and the front door.

Comment: Very well kept, beautiful resort. Plenty of chairs at beach and pools. Meals were surprisingly good. Mattress and pillows were wretched. Diet soda only available at buffet and no where else in resort. Fantastic wildlife..flamingos, peacocks, egret, white ducks...Rooms cleaned well.

Comment: The service is so bad that I will not go back. I go to Punta Cana at least once a year and this the first time I went to a different resort, never again. Nice hotel, food is good service is bad, room service is not included unless you pay $600 extra.

Comment: This was my worst vacation. I had 4 different rooms. Two of them smelled awful and were covered in mold and mildew. The showers stopped for no reason and one night the air conditioning stopped working and no one would fix it. Maid placed soiled pillows in my room. Buffet food was awful, almost impossible to eat. Restaurants were ok, if you could get into one. Desk staff was absolutely horrible.
