Comment: Had a great time during my stay. The hotel staff were very friendly, rooms were nice and clean. Buffet food was not so great.

Comment: We stayed at Villas Bavaro. For a 3 star hotel, is marvelous. The food and the attention is great. The only bad part is that the Ocean Village had parts under construction, but not a big deal. The beach is magnificent, and the pools (except for the Ocean's side) are excellent. For all those "pillow lovers", bring your own, the hotel's are not good. At the beach there are many fun things to do (don't settle for the first price they tell you). Advice: buy a travel insurance in case you get sick since the medical services are very expensive.

Comment: I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I am not a picky eater, and I struggled to find anything that wasn't gross. (Beef is not Cow.) The drinks are good--no complaints there. The service is lacking and the staff speaks very little English. The rooms are infested with insects. We came back from the beach and water was pouring into our bathroom from the ceiling. We called for assistance at least 5 times and noone came. The entire room flooded from the leak above.
