The Town of Marathon is strategically located on Trans-Canada Highway 17 on the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior; well positioned midway between the cities of Sault Ste. Marie to the east, and Thunder Bay to the west, with access to local, national and international markets; and a new economic development strategy and focus to encourage growth, investment and development.
