If you are looking for a special place for dinner in St. Constantine, don't go to the Restaurant Laguna, close to the Center of the resort.

No matter that the restaurant has life music, neither food nor drinks are that special. Open wine is stretched with water. Typical Bulgarian dishes are not done the right way.

If you are in need of a WC, have 0.50 Leva ready, as you are charged. You might be amused by the nice little animals running trough the paid area....

If you are looking for a special place for dinner in St. Constantine, I highly recommend you Restaurant Kopitoto.

Restaurant Kopitoto offers you traditional Bulgarian Food, Bulgarian Folks Music and Life Acts. You shouldn't go for the homemade "kuftete" hamburger, as they are tasteless. Anything else goes. Prices are reasonable.

If you are looking for a special place for dinner in St. Constantine, I highly recommend you the Happy Grill Restaurant, close to the Grand Hotel Varna in the Center of the resort.

Restaurant Happy Grill offers bulgarian quality food all over the country. If you like chicken, try the Caj Une Chicken. Anything at restaurant goes at reasonable prices.

St Constantine and Elenie is a resort town directly on the black sea. New Hotels are changing the area day by day. The restaurants in St Constantine are up for tourism, service is not. I rather would go visit Golden Sands, 5 Minutes north by car, then spend my evenings and days in St. Constantine.

This is a wonderful resort for people of all ages. The terrain is rairly flat and the market is a must. Set in mature parkland, the trees offer welcome shade and you can buy everything from clothing, perfume to household goods at rock bottom prices. The hot mineral pools are fantastic and there is even a hot mineral shower on the beach. There are many massage therapists who will give you a massage after a soak in the pool, right there on the beach. Bike & Scooter hire are available and there are many oppotunities to kep the kids happy. Resturants are good and most people speak English. We stayed at Hotel Pension Viliren (highly recommended), they are on the web. Transfers to and from the hotel were included in the price and even local transport to the beach. (prices 15 Euros B & B, 20 Euros B & B + Evening meal) It is basic relaxed hotel with no set times for meals - when you want something it is cooked there and then to your tastes. They even accomodate allergies and diet requirements. Nothing is too much trouble. We are going there back next year. Varna is close by for a day out and there are regular buses to other resorts. It is an ideal base and everyone I spoke to there could not talk highly enough of it.
