Comment: nice hotel with quick access to gorgeous beaches. book reservations for dinner and activities at the beginning of the trip --- they fill up fast. food & drink are expensive but quality is good.

Comment: this hotel is everything you need if you're looking to relax. the hotel staff are so friendly we are still talking about them. the spa leaves the hotel filled with an aroma that i wish i could smell it again. the food is delicious, but pricy. i totally recommend it if you want to relax.

Comment: this is a great place to stay. everything nyou need is on the property. the restaurants are wonderful. the service is amazing. the beach is beautiful. only complaint we had throughout our whole stay was that there were not enough beach umbrellas to go around. it's way too hot in august to sit unprotected the entire day. buy some umbrellas!

Comment: this was the most relaxing trip i have ever taken. the hotel staff was amazing. every request was immediately taken care of, the food was great and the private beach was beautiful.

Comment: traveled with three young children, and had a blast! the hotel was clean, comfortable, and kid-friendly. kids under 5 eat free, including beverages and dessert! pool is huge, with a large shallow-end for kids (with many fun floaties to play with). also a toddler pool, with a cool little water-slide. private beach is great...clean, warm water, few waves, many fish! hotel even provided shovels and pails for the kids! there is a free ferry into town and a trolley down to the beach and docks. if you are looking for a great vacation with young children, this is the place to go!!

Comment: we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at this top of line hotel. a true resort with all the amenities for honeymooners or families. we would love to go back.

Comment: we were met at the hotel by the shuttle bus we had scheduled. the hotel shuttle to the beach and ferry was easy and the bermuda busses and ferries make getting around the island a joy. the hotel resturants' food was very good, but a bit pricey. we ate one dinner in hamilton and took a 10 minute walk along the beach to tio pepe's italian resturant. it was great. the service was excellent and the staff friendlky and helpful. it was our 30th anniversary so we had no kids, but is is very family friendly. we would return.

Comment: dining, pools, private beach, stores,rooms all great. entire staff was incredibly pleasant---if it's just an act, i say keep it up!!!---the only problem was they weren't always very accurate with info like when the ferry to hamilton was scheduled, how to get to places on the hotel grounds, whether we could get a taxi at night in st. george (difficult). however, their friendliness trumped that. front desk (we had errors on bill), restaurant staffs (especially wickets), housekeeping, bell captains out front, shuttle drivers, everyone was just so pleasant. indoor pool not well-advertised.

Comment: this hotel had many conveniences, restaurants, really nice private beach, on site spa and excellent fitness center. slight negative on the concierge service, wasn't always that helpful or friendly. as a honeymonner found the screaming kids a bit distracting. you have to balance all the conveneince of a resort hotel against the lack of quiet and privacy.

Comment: we loved the on-site golf course, pool, beach,etc. we were a little disappointed with the room. the room itself was nice and clean, but overlooked a black rooftop. it was impossible to sit on the balcony because of the noise from the generators. concierge service was very slow, but helpful. more than 2 staff members should be assigned; there was always a long line. all staff were always pleasant and helpful.

Comment: When I stayed there, around Christmas and New Year's, they had a complimentary tea every day at 4. New movies showing at 2, 6, and 9. Bingo on some days. Complimentary expeditions, like fishing trips. They also had a spa and fitness center that was available for an additional cost.

Comment: i finally figured out where the "star" system comes from...the number of amenities the hotel has. too bad it doesn't include customer service. staffing needs to show appreciation & respect for guests; i.e. not enough staff at front desk.

Comment: overall very nice hotel. very curteous and friendly staff. excellent beach. downside was the mediocre room and beds, - not very clean and found a bug in comforter. restaurants very expensive. breakfast $25 ($12 if under 12 yrs old), ice cream desert $9, beer $6.50, soda $4, fancy drink $14. avoid wickets rest. on lower level, food not so great considering cost.

Comment: i stayed for 4 nights on a business trip and was disappointed by the long check-in lines. also, i've stayed at top hotels around the world and have never seen a $29 charge for use of a fitness center! the staff is pleasant, but woefully under-resourced.

Comment: we reserved the gold level room. unfortunately, the noise coming from the next room kept us up every night. also, the fan would not stay on so there was no ability to drown out the noise.
